The purpose of the publication is to develop a methodology for presenting unit "6 kV compressor-synchronous electric motor" in form finite state machine.
 It hypothesized that behavior compressor can be associated with an abstract deterministic theory machines and graphs applied analyze operation installation using example large-tonnage shop production ammonia. shown allows combining all possible modes shutdown units.
